Git Guard overview videos
All eight introductions (en, zh-CN, ja, de, fr, es, pt-BR and ru) are 40-second MP4 exports with matching PNG covers. Each GitHub README embeds the matching GitHub-hosted video attachment and retains a direct MP4 download link. The repository copies below remain available to local readers and other hosts. All exports share the accepted action effects and contain no background music.
These are presentation exports, not recordings of repository operations or evidence of server enforcement. They contain short action effects and no background music. Editable animation sources and original sound recordings are not included here.
Playback sources
A standalone attachment URL renders GitHub's native player in each README. A linked poster opens a file page instead, and ordinary HTML video tags are filtered by GitHub. The player is controlled by GitHub; autoplay, looping and a held final frame are not guaranteed. Local Markdown viewers may show attachment URLs as links; use the bundled MP4 files below.
| Language | Bundled MP4 | GitHub playback attachment |
|---|---|---|
| en | 40-second MP4 | Video attachment |
| zh-CN | 40-second MP4 | Video attachment |
| ja | 40-second MP4 | Video attachment |
| de | 40-second MP4 | Video attachment |
| fr | 40-second MP4 | Video attachment |
| es | 40-second MP4 | Video attachment |
| pt-BR | 40-second MP4 | Video attachment |
| ru | 40-second MP4 | Video attachment |
The attachments contain the same approved video bytes as the bundled files. Recheck actual playback after changing an attachment, and keep each README and this table in sync.
Sound credits
Transfer effect adapted from Short Whoosh, 13x by Kinoton, released under CC0 1.0. The sample was cropped, filtered, sped up and placed in stereo at reduced gain. Rejection and completion effects use original synthesis. These sound-source terms do not grant rights to unrelated branding or imply a license for the whole project.
See animation integration for placement, language mapping and publication checks.
